A reusable enterprise RAG platform
One governed, multi-tenant retrieval platform on Kubernetes, so every team can launch a document assistant without rebuilding the stack.
Several teams wanted their own document assistant. Instead of each building one, we designed a single Kubernetes-hosted retrieval platform that every team can use with its own isolated assistant.
The challenge
Separate assistants would have meant duplicated ingestion pipelines, inconsistent access control and no common way to measure answer quality.
What we built
- IngestionConnectors, chunking and embeddings shared by every team
- RetrievalHybrid search, re-ranking and caching
- Access controlEach tenant sees only the documents its users may see
- Chat UI and APIA common interface teams can brand and extend
- MonitoringAnswer quality, latency and cost per tenant
How we made it safe to run
- Multi-tenancy. Each team’s assistant is isolated, with its own data and permissions.
- Citations by default. Answers link back to the source passages.
- Shared monitoring. One place to track accuracy, usage and cost across all assistants.
Outcome
New assistants launch from a common, governed base instead of being rebuilt each time.
- Services
- Knowledge assistants, AI-ready platforms
- Stack
- Kubernetes, vector database, hybrid search, re-rankers, caching layer
